The incoming ONIX data in XML files can either be imported manually into IP1 or scheduled to run as a batch process. This describes the manual process of importing ONIX into IP1.
- the menu, expand Base Modules > Other options > Data Interfaces > ONIX: Interface > ONIX 3.0 and double-click ONIX Import. ONO060 ONIX Data Import panel appears.
- Enter the following information, as required.
| Field | Description |
| Interface ID | Enter or select the Interface ID for the import interface as setup in interface maintenance. The server and the directory details should all be maintained via interface maintenance (DIM500). |
| Server code | The server name, where the XML data file is residing. It should default from the interface setup. |
| Data directory | The path on the above server, where the XML data file is residing. It should default from the interface setup. |
| File | The name of the XML data file holding the ONIX data that is to be imported. |
- Select the import interface ID. The server code and data directory and the filename will default from the interface setup.
- Click OK to run the import.
