Prices can be recalculated selectively, depending on approval by the user, and globally. Repricing by Percentage up or down for selected price code or a range of price codes is also available.
Repricing by Shipment enables the user to check the prices before the titles have been receipted and make any necessary changes. Once the shipment has been received the prices will update the price file. This function can also be used once the shipment has been received, using another Price Basis, however the prices will not be updated into the Price file.
User-defined price basis is also allowed, which would pick up the selling price in a defined price code/currency/type of sale and apply existing auto-price logic to that basis.
Control reports are available to ensure the accuracy of the input data, as well as highlighting any major exceptions. Also available are Price definition and rounding reports.
The maintenance function provides the facility for the addition of new pricing definitions and cost breaks and the alteration or deletion of existing data. There are two maintenance options available:
- Price Definition
- Price Rounding
The system requires confirmation of deletions and alterations.
