The Match Key Rebuild writes the match keys to the Contact Match Key file. These match keys are used in the duplicate detection process. The key sets and the fields that are used to build these keys are defined in TMSCRM/NA-MTKH and TMSCRM/NA-MTKY. Match keys are deleted if the Contact no longer exists.
Rebuild match key
- In the menu, expand Publishing Modules > Customer Relationship Management > CRM Maintenance > Duplicate Detection Rebuild and double-click Rebuild CRM Match Key. CRO325 Contact Match Key Update panel appears.

The key set for which you want to rebuild the match key. You can leave blank to select all key sets to rebuild. Key sets established in control file TMSCRM/NA-MTKH. The fields for the keys are system defined and is setup in TMSCRM/NA-MTKY. |
- Select a contact or leave blank to rebuild for all contacts in the system.
- Enter the required key set or select all key sets as defined in TMSCRM/NA-MTKH.
- Click OK to run the rebuild. Once the match keys are built, the duplicate checking program will use the keys and the field definitions to find matching information to detect duplicates.
