This program is used to maintain the Product Repair Codes file. Users can link codes (fault, repair) by Product Type using the Product Repair File (WSRCP).
All programs using these codes will validate against the Product Repair File and against Product Repair Codes (WSRC) as follows:
- If a product type exists in the Product Repair File, only the codes in this file are deemed to be valid for all products that belong to the product type.
- If the product type does not exist in the Product Repair File, all the codes in the Repair Codes file are deemed to be valid for all products that belong to the product type.
The product types are defined in Control File TMSDS/IA-PDT and TMSDS/IA-PDTD.
- In the menu, expand Other Modules > Warranty & Service > Maintenance > General Maintenance and double-click WS Repair Product Maintenance. WSM206 Product Repair Code Maintenance panel appears.
- Select the Repair product type and click OK to confirm. Only those records that are active will display as this screen links valid Repair Codes by Product Type.
