Work with e-mail program displays either a list of all the e-mails sent to customers or all e-mails containing errors only; this is determined by the setup in control file ********/EM-CFG.
The following options are available in this program.
| Option | Description |
| Delete | Only e-mails with a status of ‘E’ (Error) or ‘W’ (Waiting to be sent) can be deleted. Once deleted the status of the email changes to ‘X‘ (Dead mail). Email status is defined on system control file ********/EM-STS. |
| Detail | Displays the details of an e-mail. Select the Full detail Function to display the full details for the selected e-mail. |
| Header | Header option shows information such as the e-mail status, key, subject, who it is from and to, the creation time and date, the number of failed attempts and the date, time and error of the last failed attempt. |
| Display log | Displays the history log. Full Detail function switches between displaying the full details or hiding the full details. |
| Retry | Allows you to retry sending e-mails that have failed on a previous attempt. Only e-mails with a status of ‘E’ (Error) or ‘X’ (Dead mail), can be resent. On retry the status will change to ‘W‘ (waiting to be sent). Retry interval and the number of retries is maintained in control file ********/EM-CFG. |
