If stock issued on loan or consignment is to be returned as the cut-off date has been reached, then this program can be run to produce a returns notice to be used as notification to the customer.
- In the menu, expand Base Modules > Distribution > Order Processing & Billing > Order Processing > Order Entry > Loans/Consignment > Processing and double-click Loan/C Returns Notice. LCR010 Loan/Consignment Return Authorisation Print panel appears.
| Field | Description |
| Print stage | When a specific stage is selected only those Items that have the previous print stage flagged against them will print. |
| Cut-off date | Cut off Date for which Authorization Notices are to be printed. The current system date defaults but can be overridden. In the case of the trial or loan period being a standard 30 days, the last day of the month would probably be entered. |
| Sales rep | The sales representative responsible for specific loan or consignments. Prompt to select a valid sales representative code from TMSDS/CM-SLRP. |
- Enter the above selection and click OK to confirm.
If there are any orders which satisfy specified criteria then return authorization notice is printed for those loan/consignment orders.
If all the stock issued on a Loan or Consignment order has been sold, then this step is not required. If stock issued on Loan or Consignment is to be returned as the cut-off date has been reached, this Returns Authorization Notice can be used as notification to the customer that the goods must either be returned or purchased. If goods are returned, a Loans/Consignment Return transaction is processed. Authorizations can be printed for those orders which are the responsibility of a specific sales representative.
