Publication Plan Lock by Project picks up projects that are associated with a particular type (publish plan=P) and displays the projects. The users can lock the budget which will change the status of the project to ‘B’ (locked).
The menu call for this program has two entry parameters, record type and command field. The command in this menu may be configurable according to different sites. It also has user access check.
Lock a budget
- In the menu, expand Publishing Modules > Book Publishing > Others > Utilities > Maintenance and double-click BP Publish Plan Lock . BPM055 – Pub Plan Lock panel is displayed.
- Enter the required fields to search for a Project or leave the selection criteria for project levels blanks to view all projects. BPM055 – Pub Plan Lock panel is displayed with the list of available projects.
- Select the particular project for which budget should be locked and click option Lock Bud. Selected budget is locked and selection screen is displayed.
