On order entry a coupon can be applied to the order. Only one coupon can be applied to an order but the coupon can have more than one reward attached to it. If a coupon is setup as auto bonus, then it will be automatically applied on order entry. To manually apply the coupon to an order, follow the steps outlined below.
- In the menu, expand Distribution > Order Processing & Billing > Order Procerssing > Order Entry > via Picking Slip > Order Types and then double-click PS Normal Order Entry. DSE005A Order Entry – Picking Slips panel appears.
- Enter Customer account and click OK. PS Normal Order Entry header panel appears.
- Click on function Coupon. DSE008A Coupon Entry panel appears.
- Enter a valid coupon number and click OK.
- Enter the remaining order header and the order details.
- When all the order details are entered click OK; the system will apply the entered coupon to the order if all the rules of the coupon are met. If a coupon is applied successfully to the order then the charges and rewards panel will appear.
| Note | If a coupon cannot be applied to an order because the order does not comply with the rules and conditions of that coupon then the above rewards and charges panel will not appear. The order will be saved as normal with no rewards applied to it.
