VAT GL journals can be manually generated with the option to generate a VAT excel report for checking before posting. There is also an option to generate an excel listing for all or posted journals by company/group, period and document date range.
- In the menu expand, Base Modules > General Ledger > Other > GL Interface > GL Interface and then double-click VAT GL Journal Generation. VTO010 VAT GL Journal Generation panel appears.
- Enter the following information.

| Period | Period will default to the current GL period. The system will accept current or next GL period only. |

Select option Create Excel & VAT Journal to generate a VAT excel report for checking before posting or option Post VAT Journal to GL to post to GL. |
| Company code | Enter a single company code or a range to generate journals for multiple companies. |
- Click OK to generate or post VAT GL journals as per the option selected.
| Note | From the above menu click menu option VAT GL Journal Generation Excel to generate an excel listing for posted journals or all generated journals. |
