The Multi-location option distributes the received stock over several locations. Header details display the mapping for open and bulk locations, the total outstanding quantity and the total receipt quantity. For each location the carton quantity, the warehouse zone and the stock on hand quantity are shown, as well as the minimum and maximum quantity. The receipt quantity is entered and the default priority level can be modified if necessary.
To allocate stock to additional warehouse locations, entry is required of the valid locations, their carton quantities and their receipt quantities.
- In the menu, expand Base Modules > Distribution > Inventory Management > Warehouse Management > Warehouse Control > Stock Receipts > Location Controlled Warehouse and double-click From PO/Shipment Loc Cont WH. WHE045 Shipping Receipts Entry selection panel appears.
- Enter the warehouse and shipment selection details.
- Click OK to confirm the entered selection. WHE045 Shipping Receipts Entry panel appears.
- Select the item which is to be received into multi-locations and click option Multi-location. WHE045 Shipping Receipts Entry panel appears.
- Make necessary changes to receipt quantity and corresponding locations.
- Click OK to confirm changes. Stock is now receipted into selected multi locations of the same warehouse.
