The forecast summary allows a summary view of the stock in the various VMI locations by item. It is a global view of the stock managed in a summary view so that the user may utilise the figures for summarised planning. This summary view would allow the managing of the stock by main warehouse codes. This default for the warehouse codes are control file driven.
The filter also allows the selections of items by brand codes and delivery dates of the products. Thus it would include the VMI locations that are to be serviced during the range of dates selected.
- In the menu, expand Base Modules > Distribution > Inventory Management > Vendor Managed Inventory > Inquiry and double-click VMI Forecast Summary. DSW180 Work with VMI Forecast selection panel appears.
- Enter the selection criteria and click OK.
- Select the item to view the forecast summary for and click option forecast detail. Details of selected item, linked to each customer store will display.
