The Order Search inquiry is used to search for orders and do a transaction inquiry on a selected order. The search can be by warehouse or process number. When this program is called from Point of Sale then the warehouse is defaulted to the AR user’s default warehouse as defined in TMSDS/POS-USRD & TMSAR/ARLOC.
- In the menu, expand Other Options > General Inquiries > Document Inquiries and double-click Order Search/Inquiry. DSI917 Order Search/Inquiry panel appears.
- Enter the Warehouse or the Process number or the scan fields and click OK. Orders with the selected criteria are listed.

| Detail | Displays additional details for the listed orders e.g. warehouse code and customer number. |
| Subset | Accesses DSI917A selection panel to display a subset of the listed orders with further selection. |
| Order summary | Accesses DSI917D to display the summarised details of the items on the order e.g. order qty, supplied qty, b/o qty etc. |
| Transaction | Accesses DSI120 Transaction Inquiry for the selected order. From DSI120, you can access DSI121 Transaction Detail Inquiry which allows DSI010 Item Masterfile Inquiry. |
