License & Hire application in IP1 provides a rental management solution for licensing and hiring companies. It helps to manage and administer all their hire products and the licensing agreements.
Major enhancements in the project management system in Iptor IP1 allows the managing of rentals of performance based items. It has a link to Rightsmaster contracts that uses the attendance of these performances to determine the royalties that are due for payment. The project allows the managing of request of bond payments and supply of performance based stock at scheduled dates to the rehearsals and the final performance. This delivery is based on triggered events after the collection of fees that is due prior to the delivery of the stock.
The scheduling system allows new triggered events to trigger tasks that will advise various resources of pending actions, such as delivery of contracts and management of rental returns. On completion of the performance, the system will send e-mails requesting the return of rental equipment and allow the staff to check the incoming rental equipment for the condition of stock.
After that the system will reconcile the bond payment, amounts paid for the costumes, scripts and the state of the returned rentals to determine if part of the bond can be returned.
