Previously entered orders can be retrieved and duplicated for a nominated customer, regardless of transaction status. Upon initial access of Order Entry this facility is not available. It is only available after the first order has been keyed in that the function key displays. Once exited from module, the function is again no longer available.
The order is just duplicated for the nominated customer and can be maintained as required. Order prices are included by copy function, as these are to be specified during maintenance. By leaving the price field blank, the system refers to the current system price for the ISBN. This duplication function effectively allows the user to retrieve and reactivate rejected or cancelled orders.
- On the the order header panel enter the customer number and click Dup prev order. The previous order for the customer will be copied.
Note The function Dup prev order is only visible on the order header panel, after an initial order has been entered. - Maintain the copied order as necessary.
