This program is used for automatic assembly or disassembly of systems only.
- In the menu, expand Base Modules > Distribution > Inventory Management > Warehouse Management > Non RF Stock Control > Stock Adjustments > Systems/Packs and double-click WH System Makeup. DSM075 System Assembly/Disassembly selection panel appears.
| Field | Description |
| Pack/System | Valid ISBN for the System. Assembly/Disassembly component details will be displayed for this system. |
| Warehouse | Warehouse for System assembly/disassembly. Any location within this warehouse will be used. |
- Enter the System ID and warehouse. Click OK to confirm the selection. DSM075 System Assembly/Disassembly panel appears listing the following details.
| Field | Description |
| System stock | Number of systems currently in stock in the selected warehouse. |
| Max components | Maximum number of systems that can be made with the currently available components. |
| Required qty | Quantity of systems that you require to be made. This can not exceed Max components. |
| Component | Part of the system that makes the system. |
| Qty per | Total quantity of each component that makes the system. |
| Stock avail | Available stock in the selected warehouse of each component that makes the system. |
- For system assembly enter positive required quantity; this quantity must not exceed the maximum number of systems that can be made with the available components. For system disassembly enter a negative quantity(minus sign after the number).
- Click OK to confirm. For an assembly the system will reserve the additional components for the system. Consequently, the available stock quantity for the components will be reduced and the system stock quantity will be increased. For a disassembly the reverse will occur.
