GL interface

Iptor IP1 is designed to fully interface with the General Ledger module. The General Ledger interface can be posted by company and it can be run daily or as required. This interface has the flexibility to define the type of data transferred between systems. A definition number is used to uniquely identify a single type of transaction definition and can apply to multiple general ledger account numbers.

Organisations with multiple companies with different currencies but the same chart of accounts can have the same General Ledger Interface definition. Transactions will be posted to General Ledger with the same company and currency as the source.

Process flow

The interface procedure consists of the following four steps.

 Step  Description
Setup the interface definition G/L interface for Accounts Receivable and for Sales/Stock. This only has to be done once and is not required to be done each time interface definition is to be done.
Run the option to collect the required data

Interface creation
