E-commerce

The E-commerce module is a complete Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Consumer (B2C) integrated solution enabling a range of business interactions to be conducted over the Internet real time. It also provides remote access via a standard browser through the Internet or an Intranet. Features include:

E-commerce works directly in real time with the existing IP1 database and business logic. Because data is accessed in real time any changes made to the core database reflects immediately and automatically on the website as data only has to be maintained in one place. This means all inquiries, for example, provide up-to-the minute information and all orders and other transactions are processed in real time.

Companies or individuals that obtain information through E-commerce see whatever you want them to see, based on exactly the same data that in-house users access through other IP1 modules such as Order Processing.

Management functions such as catalogue maintenance, user maintenance and management of objects (covers, pictures, synopses, tables of content, blurbs, audio and video files, etc) are performed centrally through the core system over existing product lists. [Read more…]
