The number file attaches a specific number to each transaction that is performed throughout the system. These numbers are used to track each transaction through the process flow. They are used in inquiries, reports and assist technical staff in the recovery of data.
The majority of numbers have a single level of identification. Some numbers have multiple levels from which to choose. Company, Warehouse, Branch, TOS, Document type, Creditor type, and Customer type can be used in the structure.
The basic definition has been created for each Key field.
Add a key field
- In the menu, expand Other Options > Cross Applications Support > Control Files and then double-click Control Number Maintenance. XAW010A Work with Control Number selection panel appears.
- Click OK. XAW010A Work with Control Number main panel appears.

- Enter all the field values and click OK. New key field is added.

To add/maintain/change/copy/delete/display/rename key value; add/maintain/change/copy/delete/display/resequence key rule; add/maintain/change/copy/delete/display/rename key field, select the formulae and click the corresponding option. |
