The Duplicate Update uses the contact match keys to detect the duplicates. Pre-defined error levels (TMSCRM/NA-MTKH) determine if the errors are a warning or a hard error. If an error occurs (not a warning), then the user either has to remove the incorrect data or correct the incorrect data that is being entered or allow entry by acknowledging that it is not a duplicate via Duplicate Maintenance program (CRW110).
- In the menu, expand Publishing Modules > Customer Relationship Management > CRM Maintenance > Duplicate Detection Rebuild and double-click Build CRM Match Key Links. CRO330 Contact Duplicate Update panel appears.

Contact | Contact ID of the contact to detect duplicates for. |
Key set |
The key set which you want to use to detect duplicates. You can leave blank to select all key sets. Key sets established in control file TMSCRM/NA-MTKH. The fields for the keys are system defined and is setup in TMSCRM/NA-MTKY. |
- Select a contact and the key set or leave blank to select all.
- Click OK to run the duplicate update. The system will use the keys and the field definitions to find matching information to detect duplicates.
