Picking routes can be predefined for pick priority and be different in different parts of the warehouse. Put-away routes and stocktake routes can also be defined individually and these can be different from picking routes.
RF or fixed scanner technology provides title and carton barcode scanning with quantity verification. It also provides the facility to short pick if stock is not where it is supposed to be and at the same time to do stock adjustments and location counts.
