Summary job report

This report is used to detail the project by cost types and provide details of labour, commitments (purchase orders), actuals (invoiced), budgets, variances and revenue in the report.

The Job summary page summarizes the cost types by WIP type. This report provides details by project(s) selected via a selection screen. This report displays the following details by cost type. The data is extracted and presented as specific columns.

• Labour hours and values are extracted from the timesheet transaction file (BPET00P) by project ID and cost type. Actuals from the Project details (BPPJB00P) are reduced by the value from the timesheets transaction file in case other actual have been posted into this cost type.
• Commitments (Purchase orders) are extracted from the Project details (BPPJB00P) by project type and cost type. Transactions are identified by record type = 2 and commitment status = A.
• Actuals (Invoiced transactions) are extracted from the Project details (BPPJB00P) by project ID and cost type. The record type = 3.
• Revenue transactions are extracted from the Project revenue file by project ID. The revenue status = I.
• The external total is based on actual and commitment when actual is zero. Therefore, the external total is a total of external actual + external commitment (only where the external actual = 0).

1. In the menu, expand Publishing Modules > Book Publishing > Project Report > Management Reports and double-click BP Summary Job Report . BPR080 Book Production Summary Job Report panel appears. 
2. Enter the selection fields as required. 

1. Click OK to produce the report. 

The report lists the following information.

• Project Id
• Project Status
• Commitment
• Actuals
• Total cost
