All programs that move stock into locations checks the flag on zone masterfile to see whether the move is valid. More than one user can access the same return, during multi-user mode. Limited functions are available through RF.
Exit/Cancel for the first user will cancel all entries and changes of all users. For other users, it will only cancel their own changes.
This multi-user facility enables the user to re-access their changes so far. Consequently, after a program crash, a user can re-access their entries using the same session (Claim must be identified at the selection panel).
This example describes how to complete returns receiving using RF.
- In the menu, expand Base Modules > Distribution > Inventory Management > Warehouse Management > RF Menu and double-click RF Returns Receiving. DSE121 Rtn Reg/Load header panel appears.
- Scan an existing RA number or click Add to add new returns number.
- Scan or enter the Customer number and the Claim number.
- Click OK to confirm the selection. Logical and physical warehouse codes are defaulted.
- Change the warehouse codes if required. This option is available only in add mode.
- Click OK to confirm the selection.
- Scan the barcode, return reason code, quantity to be returned, location/container and scan or enter carton quantity.
- To complete the returns select function F9 and confirm twice. Returns receiving process using RF is completed.
