The Title Links Maintenance program uses a Title Links Database to define links to files, which contain non-structured information. These Title links are used by external applications.
Links to the web can be entered via this option, by entering the file name and path against each link type. For example, Titles on the front cover of a catalogue can be linked to the web.
Maintain links to an item
- In the menu, expand Base Modules > Distribution > Masterfiles >Database Management > Database Management > Item Masterfiles > Item masterfiles and double-click IM Item Links Maintenance. DSM580 Item Links Maintenance selection panel appears.
- Select an item to which links are to be added and click OK. DSM580 Item Links Maintenance main panel appears.
- Click Page down.

The file name and path can be entered against each type and description, depending on what you want displayed on the web page. The generic links retrieval program is used to allow users to prompt for file names in the Catalogue links Maintenance screen. Control file TMSSM/SOLR-DIR determines the key and path to use. Note: When making an entry BOTH the File name and the path must be entered. |
