The Interface maintenance program allows you to define the interface programs within IP1 to import or export data files to and from IP1.
Create an interface ID
- In the menu, expand Base Modules > Other options > Data Interfaces > LOB: Interface > Maintenance and double-click LOB Interface. DIM500 Interface Maintenance panel appears.
- Click Add. DIM500 Interface Maintenance panel appears in add mode.
Field | Description |
Interface ID | Enter a unique 10 character code for the interface ID. |
Interface Key | This is the interface key as defined in control file TMSDI/LOB-KEY for the database relationship. |
Import/Export | Select I for Import interface or E for Export interface. |
Delivery method | Select from the methods described in control file TMSDI/LOB-DLVM. Delivery method for ONIX is FTP. |
Processing program | This is the interface inbound or the outbound controller program: ONO120A is for ONIX inbound and ONO050A is for ONIX outbound. |
Delay | Time delay in seconds for the import/export process to begin. |
Customer | Customer code for the customer sending/receiving the data. |
Server code | The system server as defined in ********/DE-SVR where the data directories will be held for the incoming/outgoing data. |
Data directory | The data directory where the generated data in XML will be stored on the server defined in the above field. |
- Enter the above information, as necessary.
- Click OK to save the Interface ID.
Setup product selection rules for the outbound data
- In the menu, expand Base Modules > Other options > Data Interfaces > ONIX Interface > Interface Management > and double-click ONIX Interface Maintenance. DIM500 Interface Maintenance panel appears.
- Select the Interface ID with option Selection.
- Click Add to setup product selection rules.
- Enter the fields from the selection list that should be selected/omitted etc.
- Click OK to save the selection rule/s.
Display interface history log
This process describes how to view the detailed history log for the incoming/outgoing data and take any relevant action, for example resend/reprocess.
- In the menu, expand Base Modules > Other options > Data Interfaces > ONIX Interface > Interface Management > and double-click ONIX Interface Maintenance. DIM500 Interface Maintenance panel appears.
- Select the Interface ID with option Log.
- The following information is displayed on this panel.
Field | Description |
Msg ID | Message ID for the outgoing/incoming data. ID for outgoing data is defined in control number file DI-MSGID. |
Last Act |
Last action that was taken for the relevant log. F=full replacement, there was no prior history. I=insert; this is a new addition U=updated changes only |
Last Ack |
Last Acknowledgement can be any following: O=Outstanding S=Successful W=Awaiting acknowledgement F=Failed |
Functions | Description |
Last log/All logs/Last msg | This function toggles to display the last log or all logs or the last message. |
Filter | Filter functionality allows you to filter down the log using specific filter fields e.g. Action, Entry Date & Time and Acknowledgement. |
Options | Description |
Delete | This will delete the selected log. |
Batch | The Batch option will list all the processed keys for the relevant log/msg. |
